ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested three wanted members of a notorious snatcher gang during a successful operation in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that the Industrial Area police team, utilizing technical and human resources, apprehended the accused who were involved in multiple incidents of looting citizens.
He said police also recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, and weapons with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigation is underway.
On the special directives of DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq, ICT Police have intensified their crackdown against robbery, snatching, and other serious crimes across the city.
The DIG Tariq stated that strict action will continue against criminal elements depriving citizens of their valuable assets.
