ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, accompanied by senior officers, visited various duty points in the federal capital to review security arrangements.
An official told APP on Saturday that the senior officers met with police personnel deployed at different locations and conducted a detailed assessment of security measures.

He said the officers emphasized the need for constant vigilance, effective monitoring, and strict checking to ensure public safety.
During the visits, the police personnel were directed to remain alert at all times, enhance checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and maintain a professional approach while performing duties.
Senior officers also stressed courteous behaviour towards citizens, stating that respectful public dealing is an essential component of modern policing.

He added that the officers reiterated Islamabad Police’s commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens through proactive and effective security measures.
He said such visits and inspections would continue to further strengthen security and improve operational efficiency across the capital./
