ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (APP):The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday reviewed progress on development work in several new sectors of Islamabad and discussed plans to hand over possession of plots to allottees.
It was informed during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
Officials informed the meeting that basic infrastructure development in Sector C-14 was nearing completion and plots were almost ready to be handed over to allottees. The process for handing over possession is expected to begin soon.

The chairman directed authorities to complete installation of street signboards and ensure plot locations are properly marked on Google Maps at the earliest.
Regarding Sector E-12, officials said infrastructure work in sub-sectors 1 and 2 had been completed and plots in these areas were ready for possession.
The chairman instructed that the main entry to the sector should be clearly established and that illegal constructions and encroachments be removed in accordance with the law. He also directed early completion of digital mapping of plot locations.
The meeting was further informed that development work in Sector I-12 was largely complete, with most residential and commercial plots ready. Authorities said the formal process of handing over possession to owners would begin soon.
Randhawa said providing possession of developed plots to citizens was among CDA’s top priorities, noting that possession in some of the new sectors would be handed over after decades.
He directed officials to expedite development work, ensure provision of basic amenities and make plot location information accessible to allottees.
