ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (APP):Mobile Squad of Customs Enforcement Quetta along with other Law Enforcement Agencies on Saturday seized a large consignments of electronic items worth Rs.151 million.
The seized electronic items include 2,520 foreign origin tablets and an FIR has also been lodged against the culprits. The total tentative CIF value of the seized electronic item is estimated at Rs.151 million, said a news release.
The operations were carried out on the basis of credible intelligence and reflects the continued commitment of Customs Enforcement Quetta to curb smuggling and protect the national economy.
The timely support and coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies of Balochistan played a vital role in the successful execution of the operation.
Customs reiterates its resolve to continue strict enforcement actions against smuggling and illegal trade in close coordination with law enforcement agencies.
