SIALKOT, Feb 14 (APP):As many as 70 students from session 2022 were awarded MBBS degrees at the fifth convocation of Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College.
Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Muhammad Manshaullah Butt was the chief guest while the ceremony was attended by Member of the Provincial Assembly Chaudhry Faisal Ikram, Khawaja Sultan Tipu, Registrar University of Health Sciences Dr. Kiran, Board Member Dr. Tanveer Sherwani, Principal Dr Humma Kayani Saigol, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry Syed Ihtesham-ul-Haq, Dr. Sana Sabir, Dr Tanveer Haider well as a large number of parents teachers, and faculty members of the young medical graduates.
Addressing the ceremony, Provincial Minister Muhammad Manshaullah Butt said that doctors are the intellect of society and Allah Almighty has entrusted them with the responsibility of alleviating the sufferings of humanity. He stated that sincerity, professional integrity, and honesty in the discharge of duties bring healing through the hands of doctors and elevate them to the noble status of healers.
On this occasion, Principal Dr Humma Kayani Saigol administered the professional oath to the young MBBS graduates. During the oath-taking, the young doctors pledged adherence to medical ethics, honesty, service to patients, and respect for human life.
