RAWALPINDI, Feb 13 (APP): An anti-terrorism court on Friday adjourned the hearing of the November 26 protest case against Aleema Khan, sister of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), until February 16 while upholding her non-bailable arrest warrants.
The hearing could not proceed as Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court proceeded on urgent leave.
The court had earlier issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan and summoned her to appear. Cross-examination of the last two prosecution witnesses, who are investigating officers, was scheduled to be completed on Friday.
The court maintained the non-bailable arrest warrants and directed that the accused be arrested and produced on the next date of hearing.
