BAHAWALPUR, Feb 13 (APP): A delegation from the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council Pakistan (NAEAC) visited the Department of Horticultural Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur as part of the national accreditation process.
The visit began with an inaugural session at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, chaired by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Rauf.
The session emphasized the importance of quality assurance and continuous improvement in agricultural education, highlighting the university’s commitment to meeting national academic standards.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the implementation of accreditation criteria and verify compliance with quality benchmarks set for agricultural programs.
Subject Evaluator Prof Dr Safina Naz from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan conducted a detailed review of the department’s academic structure, teaching-learning processes, research activities, faculty profile, and institutional achievements.
