SARGODHA, Feb 13 (APP):Member Provincial Assembly(MPA) from Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Chairman of the Zakat-Ushr Council Punjab,Rana Munawwar Ghous Khan visited the University of Sargodha campus and the Agro-base Industrial Estate Hub in Sillanwali on Friday to review ongoing regional development projects.
Accompanied by Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas,a delegation from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Assistant Commissioner(AC) Sillanwali Akmal,the MPA was briefed on upcoming academic and industrial facilities.
Officials from the handicraft sector and student representatives also attended the visit.
Later,Rana Munawwar Ghous Khan along with Deputy Commissioner(DC) Hussain Raza Chaudhry and Chief Officer District Council Asad Hurya,inspected 168-NB to address public complaints regarding the pond drainage system, issuing directives for immediate technical solutions.
He thanked Chief Minister(CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif on behalf of local residents for initiating development projects in Sillanwali tehsil.
The chairman also formally inaugurated the Sillanwali City Package development initiative,offering prayers for the area’s prosperity in the presence of SDO Highway officials and party workers.
The project was aimed at significantly improving local infrastructure.
