ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting with Station House Officers (SHOs) from across the district to review crime control measures and the overall security situation in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that a detailed assessment was conducted regarding policing performance, progress in serious crime cases, and efforts for the arrest of proclaimed offenders.
During the meeting, SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza issued clear directives to SHOs to further intensify actions against criminal elements and enhance preventive policing.
He particularly emphasized strengthening patrolling strategies, high-visibility policing, snap checking, search and combing operations, and intelligence-based actions to ensure an improved law enforcement response.
The SSP Qazi also directed officers to ensure foolproof security at religious places, educational institutions, commercial centres, and other sensitive locations across Islamabad.
Islamabad Police, the official said, remains fully committed to protecting citizens’ lives and property and will continue indiscriminate and effective actions against crime.
