ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP):Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday told the National Assembly that Pakistan has consistently followed a principled foreign policy on Palestine.
Speaking in the House, he highlighted that on February 9, a joint statement was issued by the foreign ministers of nine Islamic countries—including Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Türkiye, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—strongly condemning ongoing actions in Palestine. He said the statement clearly reflected Pakistan’s stance on the issue.
Azam Nazeer Tarar reaffirmed that Pakistan has not recognized Israel and continues to maintain its long-standing policy on Palestine. “Pakistan’s position from day one remains unchanged today,” he said, adding that the country will continue to raise its voice at diplomatic and international forums against any oppressive actions.
He emphasized that the government and the state of Pakistan will continue to carry out their responsibilities at the diplomatic and international levels in accordance with national policy and international law.
