ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (APP): International taekwondo gold medallist Syed Abu Hurairah Shah and prominent Pakistani businessman Aminullah Achakzai called on the Pakistani Consul General in Dubai, where the athlete was honored for his outstanding international achievements.
During the meeting, the Consul General paid tribute to Abu Hurairah Shah for representing Pakistan at the global level and delivering impressive performances in international championships. He remarked that talented athletes like Shah are a source of pride for the nation and play a vital role in projecting a positive image of Pakistan worldwide.
Abu Hurairah Shah has represented Pakistan in multiple countries, including France, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Malaysia, securing several medals for the country through his consistent performances.
Abu Hurairah Shah told APP that he remains committed to continuing his efforts to bring more honors to Pakistan and expressed gratitude for the recognition and encouragement extended by the Consul General.
On the occasion, the Consul General Aminullah Achakzai presented an Appreciation Certificate to Abu Hurairah Shah in recognition of his distinguished services and achievements in taekwondo.
During the interaction, Aminullah Achakzai also highlighted various issues faced by the Pakistani business community residing in Dubai and shared suggestions aimed at facilitating overseas traders. The Consul General assured full cooperation and support in addressing the concerns of the Pakistani diaspora.
