PESHAWAR, Feb 11 (APP): The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Regional Office Peshawar has provided relief to a resident of Peshawar following a complaint regarding excessive gas bill arrears charged by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
According to details received on Wednesday, Malik Mukarram Khan had approached the Federal Ombudsman against SNGPL over the unjust recovery of outstanding gas bill dues.
Taking prompt notice of the complaint, the Regional Office conducted a thorough investigation into the matter.
As a result of the inquiry, SNGPL granted relief of Rs 80,000 to the complainant in gas bill arrears. The investigation was carried out by Advisor Mushtaq Jadoon, while effective implementation of the decision was ensured by Deputy Advisor Muhammad Alamzaib.
The complainant appreciated the role of the Federal Ombudsman and expressed satisfaction over the timely resolution of his issue.
