ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (APP):Gold prices witnessed a significant increase in the local market on Wednesday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs2,300 to settle at Rs528,562, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,972 to Rs453,156, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,808 to Rs415,408.
In the international market, the price of gold gained $23 to reach $5,058 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an upward trend in the local market, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola climbing by Rs120 to Rs8,735, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs103 to Rs7,488.
The price of silver in the international market rose by $1.20 to settle at $82.60 per ounce.
