PESHAWAR, Feb 10 (APP): Members of the Provincial Assembly, Adnan Wazir and Riaz Shaheen, held a meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi to discuss the problems being faced by Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) from Kurram district.
During the meeting, the MPAs briefed the Governor about the hardships of Kurram TDPs, including issues related to relief, rehabilitation, and basic facilities. They stressed the need for immediate intervention to address the grievances of the affected families.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi took serious notice of the matter and assured the MPAs of all possible support.
He directed Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) merged districts Imran Wazir Advocate to take immediate steps to resolve the issues faced by Kurram TDPs and ensure timely relief.
The Governor emphasized that the welfare of displaced families is a top priority and said that no negligence would be tolerated in providing assistance to those affected by displacement.
The MPAs appreciated the humanitarian services of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society and praised its continued efforts in providing relief to affected communities.
They acknowledged the Red Crescent’s vital role in supporting Kurram TDPs during difficult times and termed its work commendable.
