QUETTA, Feb 10 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that the Punjab government is ready to provide all possible cooperation, resources and support to Balochistan for development of it and eliminating terrorism activities from the province.
She said that Balochistan needs perseverance to deal with the challenges being faced by it and the Chief Minister of Balochistan deserves tribute for running the province in these circumstances.
She expressed these views while talking on the occasion of her visit to Quetta.
Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, provincial ministers, members of the assembly and other personalities were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that she is grateful to the Governor of Balochistan, the Chief Minister and the government of Balochistan for the kindness and respect with which she was welcomed upon her arrival in Balochistan.
She said that this is her first visit to any other province after being elected as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Referring to her visit to the FC headquarters, she said that the determination of the Frontier Corp FC is commendable, seeing which boosted her morale.
The Punjab Chief Minister assured full cooperation in the ongoing operation against Fitna-Al-Khawarij and other government challenges and said that the Punjab government stands with Balochistan at every level.
She hoped that terrorism would soon be eradicated from Balochistan and that this province would become a cradle of peace and prosperity.
