LAHORE, Oct 04 (APP):Chairman Pakistan Television (PTV) Raja Arshad Khan Thursday said PTV was the custodian of ideological frontiers of the country and it must preserve values.
Speaking at a reception hosted in his honour here he said PTV was a pioneer broadcasting institution, adding that the betterment of this national institution and the welfare of its employees were his top priorities.
He said that it was his first and foremost priority to take this august institution ahead with the co-operation of PTV staff and restore its past glory.
The Chairman called upon the officers and the staffers to join hands and work hard so that PTV could overcome its financial deficit. He assured effective measures for the progress of PTV.
Earlier, in his welcome address, CBA Union General Secretary Pervaiz Akhter Bhatti assured the Chairman PTV of full co-operation to materialize the revolutionary measures.
Raja Arshad Khan served as Managing Director of PTV in the past and now keeping his splendid performance Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again appointed him as the PTV Chairman.
