ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police issued a traffic advisory after the start of development work on the underpass at Margalla Enclave along Park Road, urging commuters to follow the designated diversion plan to avoid inconvenience.
An ITP official told APP on Tuesday that traffic travelling from Rawal Dam Chowk towards Tramri will be diverted via NIH Road, passing through Mohra Noor, before rejoining Park Road.
Similarly, traffic moving from Tramri towards Rawal Dam Chowk will be diverted through Chaye Khana, CDA Nursery, alongside the iron grill, and two temporary roads before merging back onto Park Road, the official added.
He said that commuters may also use Lehtrar Road, Khanna Bridge and the Islamabad Expressway as alternative routes to reach different parts of the federal capital.
The official warned that due to the ongoing development work, heavy traffic congestion is expected on Park Road, advising citizens to plan their journeys accordingly and allow an additional 20 to 30 minutes of travel time.
