LAHORE, Feb 09 (APP): Water and Power Development Authority’s (WAPDA) pacers Naqeebullah (3-20) and Muhammad Zeeshan (3-47) shared six wickets as they reduced Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to 110-9 at stumps on second day of President’s Trophy Grade-I 2026 final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Monday.
Resuming their innings from an overnight score of 233-6, WAPDA were bundled out for 265 in 82.1 overs as they lost their final four wickets for 28 runs.
Bismillah Khan reached his 25th first-class half-century but was dismissed on 56 by Shahzad Gul. For SNGPL, Aamir Jamal led the bowling lineup with figures of 20.1-2-67-4.
Shahzad returned figures of 20-1-69-3, while Shahnawaz Dahani bagged two for 33 in 20 overs.
In reply, SNGPL found themselves reeling on 110-9 in 42 overs before bad light intervened an hour before the scheduled close of play.
SNGPL’s opening batter Azan Awais top-scored with 48 off 117 balls including seven fours. Apart from Azan, only skipper Mohammad Rizwan managed to get into double-figures, scoring 15 off 22 balls.
Zeeshan ended Azan’s resistance in the 41st over apart from removing Abdul Samad and Muhammad Awais Zafar early.
Naqeebullah proved miserly with figures of 15-7-20-3, while Aqib Khan (2-23) and Akif Javed (1-10) shared three wickets between themselves.
