ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (APP): Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar on Monday met delegations of lawyers from various bar associations, including Islamabad, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and Faisalabad Bar Associations.
During the meeting, matters relating to administrative and professional facilitation for lawyers, strengthening of bar institutions, and welfare of the legal community were discussed in detail.
The Federal Law Minister stated that the welfare of lawyers remains a priority for the government and that practical steps are being taken in this regard.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized that lawyers are a key pillar of the justice system and reiterated the government’s commitment to further strengthen bar associations.
He also underlined the importance of effective and continuous engagement between the legal community and the government.
The visiting delegations appreciated the Ministry of Law and Justice for its cooperation and expressed confidence that continued coordination would help address issues faced by lawyers.
