SFA cracks down on chemically adulterated milk in Malir, 1000 liters destroyed

KARACHI, Feb 09 (APP): The Sindh Food Authority carried out a decisive crackdown against chemically adulterated milk in Malir district.
During the operation in Shah Latif Town, a vehicle loaded with chemically prepared milk was seized and two individuals including the driver were arrested. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.
During the operation, approximately 1,000 liters of unhygienic and adulterated milk was destroyed on the spot.
Sindh Minister for Food, Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman, stated that the seized milk posed a serious threat to human health and that such practices amount to playing with the lives of innocent citizens, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The provincial minister emphasized that actions against the adulteration mafia will continue on a daily basis under a zero-tolerance policy, and strict legal measures will be taken against all those involved in the production and sale of unsafe food items.
He reaffirmed that ensuring the availability of safe and quality food to citizens remains a top priority of the Government of Sindh and the Sindh Food Authority.
