LAHORE, Feb 09 (APP): Uzbekistan Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev called on Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here on Monday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation were discussed.
The Uzbek ambassador conveyed a letter from Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the PML-N president.
In the letter, the Uzbekistan president stated, “Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is a patriotic son of Pakistan who has devised outstanding projects for the welfare of Pakistani people.”
The Uzbek president also praised the public welfare initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to visit Uzbekistan.
