KARACHI, Feb 08 (APP): An important meeting was held at Governor House Karachi under the chairmanship of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Chairman MQM Pakistan and Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Sunday.
Participants requested the Governor of Sindh to continue the tradition of holding public Sehri and Iftar at Governor House.
Proposals regarding a conference of all Karachi stakeholders on February 14 and a public gathering on February 15 for the martyrs of the Gul Plaza tragedy and the Tarlai tragedy, were also discussed.
A detailed review of Ramadan arrangements was conducted during the meeting.
Emphasis was placed on cleanliness, distribution of ration among deserving people, and establishment of subsidized markets.
The Governor said that provision of maximum relief to the public during Ramadan is the top priority.
Tessori reaffirmed his commitment to continue full support for deserving individuals during Ramadan.
The Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and participants paid tribute to the Governor of Sindh for his three years of public service.
IT initiatives, ration programs, and welfare projects were termed as the Governor of Sindh’s notable contributions.
Senior central leaders of MQM Pakistan, including Dr. Farooq Sattar, Ameen-ul-Haq, and members of the Central Coordination Committee were present at the meeting.
