LAHORE, Feb 08 (APP): Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday visited Jamia Ashrafia and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Maulana Hafiz Fazlur Rahim Ashrafi, the rector of Jamia Ashrafia.
During his visit, Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death.
The governor met Maulana Asad Obaid, Maulana Zubair Hassan Ashrafi and other family members, teachers and students and expressed his condolences, saying that the religious and academic services of Maulana Fazlur Rahim Ashrafi are unforgettable.
The deceased dedicated his entire life to the promotion of religious education and the moral and intellectual training of the younger generation.
His death has created a big gap in academic and religious circles. Such eminent personalities are a valuable asset to the nation and their services will always be remembered.
The governor prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s rank and for patience for the bereaved family.
