ISLAMABAD, Feb 08 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted a review of security arrangements at churches and other places of worship across the federal capital to ensure the safety of worshippers.
An official told APP on Sunday that the SSP Qazi visited various churches and worship places, inspected security deployments and reviewed measures put in place for the protection of religious congregations.

During the visit, SSP Qazi interacted with police officers deployed on duty and issued clear instructions to remain fully alert, maintain strict vigilance, and ensure effective checking at all entry and exit points.
He directed officers to enhance patrolling around sensitive locations and adopt all necessary precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incident, emphasizing that protection of citizens and worshippers is a top priority of Islamabad Police.
The SSP Qazi also stressed courteous behaviour with members of the public and religious communities, saying that ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for people of all faiths reflects the true spirit of people-friendly policing.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police remain fully committed to safeguarding lives, property and religious freedoms, adding that no negligence would be tolerated in the performance of security duties.
