HSF hosts seminar to welcome upcoming Ramadan

ISLAMABAD, Feb 07 (APP): Human Saviours Foundation (HSF) has hosted a seminar titled Isteqbal-e-Ramadan to welcome the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The event was held at Noor Marquee in Sector G-13, Islamabad, according to a press release issued on Saturday.

The seminar focused on the commandments and practical aspects of Ramadan, the proper organisation and distribution of Zakat, and the importance of charity and welfare work during the holy month.
Esteemed speakers Dr. Samiullah Zubairi, Assistant Professor at Allama Iqbal Open University, and Dr. Abdul Khaliq delivered detailed sessions on Ramadan-related religious injunctions. Dr. Rana Tariq spoke on business growth and discussed ideal business models, highlighting ethical practices and sustainable development.

Chairman HSF, Chaudhry Ateeq ur Rehman, briefed the participants on HSF’s ongoing projects. Meanwhile, Samra Abbasi, Director HSF, shared the story behind the establishment of the girls’ orphanage and provided a detailed briefing on how orphan girls are currently being provided with education, training, and proper care. A comprehensive video documentary highlighting HSF’s previous welfare initiatives was also screened.
Participants were also given a presentation on HSF’s ongoing fundraising campaign for the construction of a dedicated home for orphan children, accompanied by a video documentary.
The seminar was attended by HSF volunteers and donors, who collectively pledged to make the upcoming Ramadan a month of service to humanity. They committed to supporting fundraising efforts for orphan care, Sehri and Iftar drives, ration distribution, water projects, mosques, and community centres, as well as motivating others to contribute to these causes.
The seminar concluded with a collective prayer, followed by a dinner.
