LAHORE, Feb 06 (APP): Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has strongly condemned the bomb blast at an Imambargah in Islamabad and expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident.
He said he shares the grief of the families of the martyrs and prayed for the early recovery of those injured.
Following the incident, the provincial health minister contacted the Vice Chancellor of Rawalpindi Medical University and issued clear instructions to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured victims of the blast who are currently undergoing treatment at Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Khawaja Salman Rafique emphasized that all concerned institutions must extend full cooperation to ensure timely and effective medical care for the injured. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to standing with the affected families during this extremely unfortunate incident and ensuring that no negligence occurs in the treatment process.
