KARACHI, Feb 05 (APP): Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, stated on Thursday that all of Pakistan stands in complete solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren, and Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed with full vigor at the political, social, and national levels.
He was addressing a ceremony held to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day at the Governor House here.
The Governor said that the expression of solidarity with the Kashmiri people from every segment of Pakistan, political parties, social organizations, and civil society proves that this issue is a shared stance of the entire nation. Quoting the directive of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, and no compromise on it is possible.
Kamran Tessori said that even today, the Indian oppression against the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir continues, which includes severe human rights violations.
He stated that the United Nations had decided that the fate of Kashmir should be determined according to the wishes of its people, but India persistently deviates from this decision.
The Governor of Sindh said that attempts are being made to alter the demographic balance in occupied Kashmir, and restrictions are imposed on the media, yet despite this, the Kashmiri people continue to raise their voices in favor of Pakistan.
He said that the Kashmir Movement is fundamentally the struggle for the complete fulfillment of Pakistan, and this voice will continue to be raised in accordance with international laws and norms.
He said that the world is now recognizing India’s double standards and its policies that create instability in the region. The global media has exposed the actions of the Indian media and government, while evidence emerging from various countries has weakened India’s narrative.
The Governor stated that in recent days, Pakistan’s armed forces have demonstrated through an effective and decisive response against the enemy that Pakistan will not compromise on its defense and sovereignty under any circumstances. Paying tribute to the resolve and professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, he said the entire nation is united behind its military and leadership.
He said that Pakistan’s case is gaining strength internationally, and the unity, passion, and confidence within the nation are remarkable. Concluding his address, the Governor of Sindh assured the Kashmiri people that Pakistan stands with them and will never leave them alone in their struggle.
Kamran Khan Tessori added that the Canadian government has also acknowledged Indian involvement in the terrorism occurring there, while the people of Bangladesh have also indicated the involvement of the Indian government and Narendra Modi.
