PESHAWAR, Feb 05 (APP): The Directorate of Students Societies and Youth Development Center University of Malakand (UoM), organized a solidarity walk in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The walk was organized to extend support for the people of Kashmir and pay tribute to their sacrifices for the right of self-determination.
The walk started from the Administration Block and concluded at Academic Block. Holding placards, participants chanted slogans in support of freedom of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor UoM, Prof Dr Rashid Ahmad and Chairperson Department of Political Science, Dr Murad Ali, highlighted the need for international awareness about the human rights violations faced by people of Kashmir and urged the international community to resolve the Kashmir issue peacefully.
They paid tribute to sacrifices of Kashmiri people and said that we support people of occupied valley in their struggle to get right of self-determination.
