ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP): Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Anwar-ul-Haq Chaudhry on Thursday underscored Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
Addressing a ceremony on Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said Pakistan would continue to extend full support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle.
He said Indian atrocities and grave human rights violations in the occupied territory could no longer be hidden from the world, urging the international community to stand by the people of Kashmir.
He emphasized that the Government of Pakistan would not abandon its Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just struggle.
Federal Ministers Engineer Amir Muqam and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry were also present at the ceremony, where they reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the Kashmir cause. The gathering was attended by a broad cross-section of political and social leaders, civil society representatives, and citizens from different walks of life.
