FAISALABAD, Feb 05 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with great national fervor and enthusiasm on the instructions of Punjab government.
A solemn ceremony was held at FDA Complex mosque where a large number of FDA staff, officers and people participated. Special prayers were offered for elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in Occupied Kashmir, the success of freedom movement and solidarity of the nation.
In his special message, Director General (DG) FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary said that Kashmir was the “jugular vein” of Pakistan, emphasizing that the bond with Kashmiris was not merely geographical but rooted in faith, culture and humanity.
He remarked that the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have courageously faced Indian atrocities for decades and insha’Allah they would soon achieved independence.
He further noted that the immense sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people for their freedom are unparalleled in history, paying tribute to the resilience of the mothers, sisters, and youth who refuse to bow down despite systemic oppression.
FDA Director General urged the international community and human rights organizations to take notice of the ongoing violations of human rights by Indian forces, asserting that lasting peace in the region depends on resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the aspirations of its people and UN resolutions regarding their right to self-determination.
He reaffirmed that every member of the FDA stands with their Kashmiri brothers and that every Pakistani will continue to provide moral, political, and diplomatic support until the sun of freedom rises over the valley.
He prayed for resolution to Kashmir issue soon and an end to the persecution of innocent Kashmiris.
Later, FDA officials joined the main central rally organized by the district administration.
