TANDO ADAM, Feb 05 (APP):A rally was organised in Tando Adam on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam Hunain Tariq Shahani to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The rally commenced from the Mukhtiarkar Office and concluded at the Tando Adam Press Club. It was attended by DSP Tando Adam Mukhtiar Memon, Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Malik Zulfiqar, Chief Municipal Officer Abdul Hameed Malik, Mukhtiarkar Imamuddin Larak, Taluka Education Officer Mukhtiar Ali Umrani, Ali Muhammad Bhano, PT ALF president Lakhadino Khaskheli, SHO Mohammad Haneef Mahar, along with government officials, political and social figures, civil society representatives and a large number of citizens.
Speakers on the occasion said the people of Kashmir had been facing oppression for decades and urged the United Nations to play its role in implementing its resolutions to ensure the right to self-determination for Kashmiris so they could live in peace and freedom.
They further stated that the people of Pakistan stand with Kashmiris and will continue extending moral and diplomatic support to their cause. The speakers also called upon international human rights organisations to take notice of alleged human rights violations in the region and help ensure justice for the Kashmiri people
