He called upon the United Nations and the international community to play their due role in enabling the Kashmiri people to achieve freedom in accordance with their aspirations.
“The sacrifices of the Kashmiri people for freedom will never go in vain”, he added.
He highlighted the severe restrictions imposed on Kashmiris.
“Kashmiris are not even allowed to speak about their freedom,” he said, adding that for the past 78 years, they have faced uncertainty in every sphere of life, business, education, and social activities.
The ceremony concluded with a rally in which participants chanted slogans of “Kashmir Banega Pakistan,” demonstrating strong public solidarity with the Kashmiri struggle.
The event served as a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s consistent stance on the Kashmir issue and the collective resolve of the nation to stand with Kashmiris until they achieve their inalienable right to self-determination as promised by relevant United Nations resolutions.
