ISLAMABAD, Feb 05 (APP):Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja expressed strong solidarity with the people of Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day and reiterated Pakistan’s firm support for their just cause.
In a message on February 5, the minister said the right to self-determination is the basic and inalienable right of the Kashmiri people. She described India’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir as a clear violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.
Shaza Fatima said the people of Kashmir have been facing serious human rights violations for a long time and urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take effective action.
She expressed determination that Pakistan would continue to provide full political, moral, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people until their legitimate rights are achieved.
The minister said February 5 is not just a date but a reminder of a global commitment, adding that standing for the rights of the Kashmiri people is a shared responsibility of the international community.
