KARACHI, Feb 04 (APP):Seven ships, Hua Chuang-66, GFS Giselle, Ionian Star, EVA Hansa, Horizon-1, Milaha Qatar and Kapta Mathios carrying Container, Palm oil, Chemicals, LPG, LNG and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal, Pakistan Gas Port Terminal and Bulk Cargo Terminal Marginal Wharf respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, five more ships, M Bright, Searay, YC Azalea, Nikolas-D and Kiran Caribbean with Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
Eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Hua Chuang-66 and Ejnan, left the port today, while two more ships, Manina and GFS Giselle, are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 176,746 tonnes, comprising 133,778 tonnes imports cargo and 42,968 tonnes of export cargo carried in 3,990 Containers (1,577 TEUs Imports & 2,413 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Fifteen ships are at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Asia Inspire and Maro-K & three more ships, Ren Jian, Hong Young Chang Sheng and RDO Endeavour, carrying Palm oil, Coal and Container, are expected to take berths at MW-1, PIBT and QICT on Wednesday.
