KP CM visits Kurram, raises relief packages for operation victims to Rs 230,000

PESHAWAR, Feb 04 (APP):Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, on Wednesday announced an increase in the relief package for victims of the operation in Kurram district, raising the amount from Rs 110,000 to Rs 230,000.
The CM also announced that displaced persons currently residing in host families’ homes will be provided with the same relief package.
Addressing the issue of tribal displaced persons, Sohail Afridi said that the long-standing problem of dual addresses would be resolved to ensure transparent and fair distribution of assistance.
He further stated that all affected people would be provided relief on the same pattern as that given to the victims of Khyber district.
Emphasizing unity and progress, the CM said that Pakistanis must move forward like civilized nations by setting aside mutual and sectarian differences and focusing on development and stability.
