ISLAMABAD, Feb 3 (APP):Senior journalist and Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Director Abdul Jabbar Zakaria’s son, Moaz Abdullah, was laid to rest on Tuesday.
Funeral prayers were offered at Media Town, followed by burial at H-11 Cemetery.
The funeral was attended by APP Managing Director Muhammad Asim Khichi, former Member of the National Assembly Mian Muhammad Aslam, journalists, political and social figures, APP employees, as well as a large number of relatives and friends.
Moaz Abdullah, 21, was a computer science student at FAST University. He passed away after a prolonged illness following treatment for cancer.
Qul of the deceased will be offered on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Masjid Anwar Madina, Block A, Media Town.
