KARACHI, Feb 03 (APP): The State Bank of Pakistan, all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on Thursday, February 5, 2026 on the occasion of ‘Kashmir Day’, being observed to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on Thursday, February 5, 2026 being a public holiday on the occasion of ‘Kashmir Day’, as declared by the Government of Pakistan,” the central bank announced in a statement issued here on Tuesday.
Subsequently in observance of the Kashmir Day, all the banks, Micro Finance Banks, Development Finance Institutions and other financial institutions will also remain closed on February 5, 2026.
