NAWABSHAH, Feb 03 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Samad Nizamani participated in the morning assemblies of the ongoing National Anti-Polio Campaign at polio fixed points established at Taluka Hospital Qazi Ahmed and Taluka Hospital Sakrand on the second day of the campaign.
On this occasion, field staff, Union Council Medical Officers (UCMOs), area in-charges, and vaccination teams briefed him in detail on the effective implementation of campaign.
Deputy Commissioner laid special emphasis on maximum coverage of refusal cases and directed teams to ensure more than 60% same-day coverage of Not Available (NA) cases. He stressed the need to improve campaign quality through strict monitoring and effective supervision so that no child is deprived of polio drops. Highlighting the importance of discipline, timely reporting, accurate data entry, and coordinated field actions, DC instructed staff to work collaboratively to achieve assigned targets. He urged polio teams to perform their duties with dedication, commitment, and responsibility, considering it a national obligation, to ensure success of the anti-polio campaign. On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Sakrand Ramiz Raja, Mukhtiarkar Qazi Ahmed Shah Murad Tunio, and other concerned officers were present.
