PESHAWAR, Feb 03 (APP): Charsadda police successfully conducted operation, arrests accused involved in murder of 9th-grade student Salman and also recovered murder weapon, a pistol.
The police took legal action on the report of the plaintiff Shahzad son of Faridullah, resident of Jamalabad, Mandani, district Charsadda.
According to the plaintiff, his brother Salman was a student of class 9 at Allama Iqbal Public School. On the day of the incident, he received information that his brother had an argument at school. When he reached the school, his brother was engaged in a verbal altercation with a student, Faizan son of Imran, resident of Jolagano Bari Band.
During the altercation, the accused opened fire with a pistol, as a result of which Salman was seriously injured and fell, while the accused managed to escape from the scene.
The injured student, Salman, was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to initial investigations, the cause of the incident was an angry verbal altercation. Taking strict notice of this unfortunate incident, District Police Officer Charsadda Muhammad Waqas Khan formed a special team headed by SP Investigation Charsadda Alamzeb Khan, which included DSP Tangi Gulshed Khan, SHO Mandani Police Station Owais Khan and other police officers, and orders were issued for the immediate arrest of the accused.
Under the leadership of DSP Tangi Gulshed Khan, SHO Mandani Police Station Owais Khan, along with a police team, successfully carried out an operation and arrested the accused Faizan son of Imran, a 10th-grade student, resident of Jolagano Bari Band.
The police have also recovered the murder weapon, a pistol, used in the incident. The arrested suspect has confessed to his crime during the initial investigation, while further investigation is underway.
