RAWALPINDI, Feb 02 (APP):The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi(HAR) has intensified beautification and plant maintenance work at Al-Furqan Park, in line with directives from its Managing Director, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, an HAR spokesman said on Monday.
He said decorative landscaping was underway in the park, while plant care activities were also being carried out at the adjoining nursery to ensure the availability of healthy seasonal plants for Rawalpindi.
“Special measures are being taken to enhance the beauty of city parks and ensure proper care of flowers and plants,” he said, adding that cleanliness arrangements had also been strengthened at Al-Furqan Park.
He said colourful flowers and plants were creating a spring-like atmosphere in the park, drawing the attention of visitors. Nursery staff were also tending plants for the winter season to meet horticultural needs across the city.
The field staff were performing their duties with dedication and responsibility to improve the urban environment and provide better recreational facilities for citizens, the spokesman added.
