ISLAMABAD, Feb 2 (APP): First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Monday emphasized the importance of the first nationwide polio vaccination campaign of 2026, urging parents to ensure that all children under the age of five receive the vaccine every time it is offered.
In a post on social media platform X, she said that health workers were going door to door across the country as part of the campaign, calling it a vital step towards protecting children and eliminating polio once and for all.
“The first nationwide polio vaccination drive of 2026 is underway, with health workers going door to door. This campaign is a vital step towards protecting our children and eliminating polio once and for all,” she said.
