ISLAMABAD, Feb 01 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a comprehensive meeting with all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of police stations to review performance, development projects and service delivery across the federal capital.
A police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that the meeting focused on a detailed review of ongoing development projects at police stations, availability and utilization of budgets, and transparency in expenditures.

The IGP Rizvi directed officers to ensure that all development projects are completed within the stipulated time frame, stressing that negligence, misuse of funds or any irregularity in the utilization of government resources would not be tolerated.
He emphasized that providing effective, timely and quality policing services to the public is the top priority of Islamabad Police, adding that public trust is the true benchmark of police success.

IGP Rizvi instructed officers to further strengthen the policing system through improved planning, professional initiatives, financial discipline and transparency, in line with modern policing standards.

He also directed police station heads to ensure prompt resolution of public complaints at the station level, improve conduct and behavior, and deal with citizens with courtesy, responsibility and professionalism.
The meeting also included discussions on future strategies, enhancement of police station capacity, improvement of basic facilities, and administrative reforms aimed at improving overall service delivery.
The IGP Rizvi made it clear that all officers must perform their duties with honesty, integrity and dedication to make Islamabad Police a model, people-friendly force, where public confidence reflects true institutional success.
