ISLAMABAD, Feb 01 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza reviewed security arrangements at churches in different areas of the federal capital to ensure safety of the Christian community during Sunday services.
A police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that SSP Qazi visited various churches, inspected deployment, and reviewed security measures put in place for worshippers.
During the visit, SSP Qazi met officers and personnel on duty and directed them to remain alert, maintain close coordination, and ensure smooth entry and exit of worshippers.
He stressed that protection of minorities, religious places and citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority of Islamabad Police, adding that no negligence will be tolerated in security duties.
The SSP Qazi further said that Islamabad Police is fully prepared to deal with any untoward situation and will continue effective security measures across the city
