PESHAWAR, Feb 01 (APP):Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, visited the Poran Grid Station located in District Shangla on Saturday.
During the visit, he conducted a detailed review of the ongoing development work and directed the relevant authorities to further expedite the completion of the project so that the electricity-related problems faced by the public can be reduced.
The Federal Minister said that, in view of the growing electricity needs of the area, it is essential to complete grid station projects on time.
He issued clear instructions to the administration that no compromise should be made on the quality of work and that public demands should be addressed on a priority basis.
During the visit, concerned officers briefed the Federal Minister on the progress of the project. He further instructed them to accelerate the pace of work.
The local residents welcomed the Federal Minister’s visit and expressed hope that the early completion of the Poran Grid Station project would lead to a significant reduction in load-shedding and other electricity-related issues in the area.
