ISLAMABAD, Feb 01 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Muhammad Ateeq Tahir held an orderly room in his office to ensure the timely and priority resolution of departmental and personal issues faced by police officers.
A police official told APP on Sunday that officers from the Security Division participated in the orderly room, during which they presented their official and personal grievances directly to the DIG Security.

The official said that DIG Security Muhammad Ateeq Tahir directed the concerned officers to conduct fresh inquiries into serious matters, while issuing instructions for the prompt resolution of other pending issues on a priority basis.
On the occasion, the DIG Security stated that several initiatives have already been taken for the welfare of police officers, including housing facilities, improved medical services and measures to enhance the standard of education for their families.
Addressing the participants, he said that his office doors remain open for officers facing any issues, adding that collective efforts are essential for the betterment of the city.
He emphasized that the purpose of holding the orderly room was to address police officers’ welfare, personal and official matters in a timely manner and to ensure a supportive working environment within the force.
