GUJRAT, Jan 31 (APP): The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Gujrat seized 500 kilograms of banned polythene bags during an operation at Shahdola Goods Station on GT Road.
The action was carried out on the directives of District Officer Environment Osama Majid. EPA teams confiscated illegally stored bags and initiated legal proceedings
against those responsible.
According to the Environment Department spokesperson, the crackdown on the use, storage, and transport of banned polythene bags will continue to curb environmental pollution and ensure strict implementation of government directives.
