PESHAWAR, Jan 31 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday paid rich tribute to the security forces for successfully thwarting coordinated terrorist attacks at 12 locations in Balochistan.
The Governor commended the professionalism, courage and operational preparedness of the security forces, saying their timely action led to the elimination of 58 terrorists and prevented large-scale loss of life.
Governor Kundi also paid homage to 10 security personnel who embraced martyrdom while confronting the attackers, describing their sacrifices as a source of pride for the entire nation.
“The country and the nation are indebted to the sacrifices of our martyrs,” he said.
Expressing deep grief over the martyrdom of five members of a Baloch labourer family in the attacks, the Governor extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families of both civilian victims and fallen security personnel.
He reaffirmed the nation’s unwavering resolve against terrorism, saying that such cowardly attacks cannot weaken the collective determination of the Pakistani people to eradicate terrorism from the country.
The Governor emphasized that the security forces would continue to confront and defeat the enemies of peace with the same resolve and bravery, ensuring the safety and stability of the nation.
