Dera Ismail Khan , Jan 31 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) Paharpur Division, Muhammad Iqbal Baloch conducted a security review visit to the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) M-14 route in Dera Ismail Khan to assess law and order arrangements and ongoing policing measures.
During the visit, SDPO Pinyala Alamgir Khan and Station House Officers (SHOs) of Yarik and Panyala Faheem Mumtaz Khan and Attaullah Khan were also present.
Police officials briefed the SP on the prevailing security situation, routine patrolling mechanisms, and measures being taken by police stations located along the CPEC route. Detailed information was shared regarding deployment plans and surveillance of sensitive areas.
SP Muhammad Iqbal Baloch directed the SDPO and SHOs to strengthen security arrangements further and ensure effective action against criminal elements in areas adjacent to the route.
He emphasized proactive policing to prevent any untoward incident and maintain peace and stability along this strategically important corridor.
The SP reiterated that safeguarding national infrastructure and ensuring public safety remain top priorities of the district police, adding that strict vigilance and coordinated efforts would continue to counter any potential security threats.
