SUKKUR, Jan 30 (APP): Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Friday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing development schemes in Sukkur Division.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Nadir Shahzad Khan, and other officials from various departments.
Department officials briefed Qureshi on the progress of schemes, including the Lansdowne Bridge, Gaddani Phatak Overhead Bridge, and other projects. Qureshi directed officials to ensure quality work and coordinate with each other to avoid delays.
He emphasized the importance of keeping historical sites clean, as they attract foreign tourists, and urged officials to inform the administration about any issues or encroachments affecting the schemes. He also announced that he and Deputy Commissioners would conduct field visits to monitor the progress of ongoing work.
