Efforts underway to provide electricity, Sui gas to area people: Minister

JAMRUD, Sept 29 (APP)::Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Saturday said that efforts are underway to
provide basic amenities of electricity and Sui gas to area people and very soon
these two matters would be resolved.
He said this after administering oath to newly elected cabinet of Jamrud Press Club here.
He said efforts were bring made to ensure provision of basic amenities of life to people at their doorsteps.
He said that discussions are in process with concerned authorities
to start work on Jabba Dam. He said that steps would be taken to provide all
the needed facilities in education and medical centers and action would be
taken against those found guilty of ignore their responsibilities in these two
public-delivery departments.
Federal Minister said that consultation with tribal elders
regarding matters of merger are in process and aspirations of tribal people
would be considered while making decisions about their fate.
He also urged
journalist’s community to focus their energies for the uplift of society
expressing hope that newly elected cabinet would dispose their professional responsibilities
in best possible way.
The minister also assured cooperation in resolution of problems in Jamrud Press Club and announced 300,000 rupees for the purpose.
